Neurotoxins
Botox is a medication that has been used for years to treat wrinkles and facial creases. Botox blocks signals from the nerves to the muscles. The injected muscle is unable to contract therefore you are not able to see the fold, making the wrinkles relax and soften.
ABLC offers five different types of neurotoxins: Daxxify, Botox, Dysport, Xeomin and Jeuveau. Trying to determine which neurotoxin is the best for you? Book a complimentary consultation with one of our many educated consultants for more information. Must be medically cleared and consulted before booking treatment.
Pre-treatment:
Approximately 3 days before treatment avoid topical products such as Tretinoin, Retin-A, Retinols, Retinoids, Glycolic Acid, Alpha Hydroxy Acid, or other “anti-aging” products. To help prevent bruising avoid Aspirin, Flax oil, Omega-3 capsules (fish oils), antibiotics, dietary supplements, and any other essential fatty acids.
Post-treatment:
Immediately after your procedure and for 24 hours you should avoid the following:
Strenuous exercise or heavy lifting
Sun exposure/heat exposure/tanning beds
Alcoholic Beverages
